What is the Course Check?
It's a short guided enquiry: a few questions about your group, destination, dates and budget. You review everything before sending. Once submitted, we save your enquiry and come back with the best yacht match for your trip, along with a sample itinerary when we have enough detail to build one.
What’s in a Charter Decision Pack?
A side-by-side comparison of two to four yachts that fit your trip. Each option shows why it suits your group, what the trade-off is, how the cost breaks down, and how confident we are on your dates. We always include a backup option.
Does Course & Cove show live availability?
No. Tell us your dates and we'll check which yachts are available. A published rate or cruising season isn't a live calendar.
Who is the charter broker?
Our charter partner handles the professional brokerage side: confirming availability, finalising rates, writing the contract, processing payments and managing the charter itself. Course & Cove handles discovery and planning; the handoff happens when you're ready, and only with your permission.
Do I have to leave Course & Cove to make an enquiry?
No. Your enquiry, your yacht match and your sample itinerary all stay on Course & Cove. The booking and contract process is handled by our charter partner later, and only once you've decided to move forward.
How do you respond to contact requests?
On the Contact page, choose email, text or phone. We use your details for that enquiry only. There is no marketing, no mailing list. If you're outside Australia, email is the easiest route; international phone numbers need the full country code.
Is the quoted rate the total cost of the charter?
It's the starting point for the yacht and its crew. The rest depends on your dates, route, food and drink, fuel, berths, transfers and tax. We set all of that out so you can see what's included and what's charged separately before you commit.
What happens if my first-choice yacht isn’t available?
We always include a backup in the Decision Pack: a yacht that fits the same trip. If your first choice isn't free for your dates, we check the backup and any other yachts that match your group, budget and destination.
How will you use my phone number?
Our charter partner's broker calls you about this charter. We share your brief with them when you send it. No marketing calls, no mailing lists.
Who confirms the final yacht and price?
Our charter partner confirms the yacht, the rate, what's included, and the contract terms. They handle the booking directly with you. Nothing is confirmed until you've seen the full picture in writing and agreed to it.
Why might I get planning guidance instead of a yacht match?
If your enquiry is outside the destinations or formats we currently support, or if we need a bit more information to find a strong match, we'll let you know and point you in the right direction. We'd rather be upfront than waste your time.
