Start with where you want to go and who you want beside you. The yacht, time aboard and details of the trip can take shape around them.
Plan your charter
A few decisions will make the search more useful: the people travelling, the time you have, where you would like to go and what you want to spend. You don't need every answer before you enquire.
01 / Place and dates
Think about the kind of days you want: exploring islands, visiting coastal towns or staying close to a favourite shore base. Start with a destination, a preferred date window and any flexibility in your plans.
Travel times, weather and the yachts available for your dates all influence the route. If you're choosing between places, share the kind of trip you have in mind and explore the options from there.

02 / Yacht and guests
For a night or more on board, count the beds and cabins as carefully as the guest limit. Consider who will share, whether anyone needs separate beds and how easily everyone can move between decks and the water.
A yacht may carry a different number of guests on a day charter than it sleeps overnight. Motor yachts, sailing yachts and catamarans offer different spaces and ways to travel, so compare the layout with the trip you want.
03 / Time aboard
A private day can centre on a meal, a celebration or time in the water. Nights aboard give you room to settle in, wake somewhere new and let the itinerary unfold at a different pace.
Share the duration that works for your group. Boarding times and minimum charter periods vary by yacht and dates, so check them before arranging the rest of your travel.

When comparing options, check the charter fee and its time basis, then ask what is included for your dates. Food, drinks, fuel, berths, transfers and tax may be additional, depending on the charter.
Some charters use an advance provisioning allowance (APA) for expenses such as food, drinks and fuel. Ask what the allowance covers, how it is estimated and how spending is accounted for. Read the proposal, inclusions, payment schedule and booking terms before confirming.
