- Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island are possible starting points. Your boarding location depends on the yacht and your travel plans.
- When to come
- The islands welcome visitors year-round. April to September generally brings milder weather; summer is hotter and wetter. Dates, sea conditions and the yacht shape each trip.
- Time on the water
- Island stops and water activities follow the weather, tides and marine park rules. Your crew will advise on swimming and protective clothing, including during stinger season.
How long would you stay?
A shorter escape keeps the route close. A week gives you time to settle in and explore more slowly. Each yacht has its own minimum stay.

Should we start from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island?
It depends on your flights, transfers and where the yacht can meet you. Each creates a different first day. We'll recommend the best starting point once we know your group and yacht.
