- A convenient city pickup is not automatically the best starting point for an island day. Ask which meeting point suits the chosen yacht and route, then organise the group's transport around it.

- A seated lunch, drinks on deck and a day with time for swimming use the yacht differently. Start with your date, guests and time aboard, then discuss the meal, fixed timings and boarding arrangements together.
- Leave flexibility on the bay
- The skipper will account for wind, tides, depth and sea conditions. Treat shore stops and water activities as part of the proposed route, with a comfortable alternative if the day calls for it.

What is the difference between a Brisbane River and Moreton Bay charter?
A river charter can centre on dining and a celebration close to the city. Moreton Bay adds longer cruising and potential time at anchor or near the islands. Choose the experience first so the departure and duration support it.
Can we include Tangalooma or Moreton Island?
Discuss that preference in the follow-up. The yacht, departure, total hours and conditions determine a workable route. A visit near the wrecks does not automatically include resort access, shore activities or guided snorkelling.
Can a Brisbane yacht charter cater for a private event?
You can request a private event around your date and guest count. Tell us whether guests will be seated for a meal or moving around socially, plus any catering needs. Comfortable event capacity depends on that format and the chosen yacht.
Is Brisbane the same departure as the Gold Coast?
No. They are separate starting points with different travel and route implications. Keep Brisbane in your request if that is where the group will be staying, and compare any alternative departure with the transfer time included.
